9 layers of papery goodness for you to cut and assemble yourself. It’s not as complicated as it looks!
The layers are numbered for ease of assembly.
Cut all the layers from white paper or add some color to your life by making each layer a different color.
This template is for personal and commercial use.
Sized for 8 x 8 inch shadowbox frame (it looks great unframed too!), but can be resized easily with your machine cutting software or through your printer settings.
Add fairy lights between the layers, or leave it unlit. The results will be spectacular.
9 layers assembled with double sided foam tape between the layers will be 1/2″ to 1″deep. This fits perfectly in a shadowbox frame from Michael’s

1 PDF Instruction file. Download this first. Then download only the cutting file versions that you need.
2 SVG files for Cricut users. One is is with layers stacked. 1 with layers unstacked. Zipped file.
1 DXF file for Silhouette machines. Zipped file.
1 EPS file – cuz I don’t know what you’re going to use. Zipped file
2 PDF for hand cutting- black outlines on white. Letter size paper prints at 8 x 8″. A4 size paper prints at 18 x 18 cm. Zipped file.
JPGs for printing, resizing and hand cutting. 8 x 8″ Black outline on white with Individual files for each layer. Zipped file.
PNG for printing, resizing tracing. 8 x 8″ solid colors
Download, then unzip and extract the file format that you need.
Assembling the shadowbox is quick and easy.
Assembly instructions are included.
Materials needed:
65 lb cardstock 8.5 x 11 or 12 x 12 will work.
Black and shades of yellow and orange.
Pointed tweezers are helpful to place the small pieces.
Double sided foam tape.
Craft paper glue.
