13 plus layers of papery goodness for you to cut and assemble yourself.
Layers are numbered to make assembly easy.
Complete assembly instructions are included.
Note: this is not a beginner level design. There are small bits to be placed and intricate cuts to be made.
This template design is for personal and commercial use.
Sized for 8 x 8 inch shadowbox frame (it looks great unframed too!), but can be resized easily with your machine cutting software or through your printer settings.
13 layers assembled with double sided foam tape between the layers will be 1 inch to 1.5″ deep.
Please measure the depth of your shadowbox to assure it will fit. I used an 8×8″ frame from Michael’s and it’s a tight fit.
I did not add lights to this box, but you can if you desire.

2 SVG files for Cricut users. 1 with layers stacked together. 1 with layers unstacked in a single file.
1 DXF file for Silhouette machines.
1 EPS file – cuz I don’t know what you’re going to use.
PDF for hand cutting- black outlines on white. 8.5 x 11′ paper sized to make 8 x 8 shadowbox.
PNG for printing, resizing and hand cutting. 8 x 8″ Full color for printing and resizing.
Download, then unzip and extract the file format that you need.
Assembling the shadowbox is easy, but requires some patience.
Assembly instructions are included.
Materials needed:
65lb cardstock 8.5 x 11 or 12 x 12 will work.
Double sided foam tape.
Craft paper glue.
Fine point tweezers are helpful for placing the small pieces.
This file is for Personal and Commercial small business use.
You may gift or donate the finished project. You can make as many as you like for friends, family, gifts… etc.
You may cut this by hand or with your cutting machine. Use it for paper or vinyl or wood or whatever makes you happy.
You may sell items that you create with this template. Small business use means up to 200 items can be created and sold.
You may not:
Sell the files. Sell the printed uncut design.
Please do not share or sell the digital file/files.
